Where are your pre-qualified assistants from?
We currently hire quality experienced professionals from the Philippines and Russia.
The Filipinos are known for having a strong grasp of the English language and for being essentially the go-to driving force for global business outsourcing. They are generally loyal and integrity-driven hardworking individuals and value long-term employment options.
Russians hold the most reputable positions globally in web development, algorithms, data structures, SQL, etc. (Filipinos, for example, rank in 46th place in the world). We trust them with all things technical WordPress-related.

Are your pre-vetted virtual assistants experienced workers or recent school graduates?
The people we hire have proven professional experience and have been tested and pre-vetted by us.
While we are generally supportive of youth entering the labor force after college or university, we are selective at Laptopreneurship for our clients’ sake. Based on our real-life experience, we discovered that hiring experienced specialists who are eager to grow provides numerous benefits for our clients and the process as a whole. An assistant who has had hands-on experience with real businesses is more likely to understand their own timing, strengths, and weaknesses more accurately than someone who has never worked full-time before, hence they are more likely to effectively overcome challenges.
Do you work with clients from outside Canada and USA?
Yes, we work with solopreneurs and entrepreneurs from around the world. As long as your website is or will be built using WordPress and in English, we can work with your project(s). Note: all prices on laptopreneurship.com are in USD currency.
Where are you based?
Laptopreneurship’s mother company is based in Toronto, Canada. The outsourced primary operations are conducted from Saint-Petersburg, Russia.
Is there a long-term contract to sign?
After you prepay for 2 months (your first and last), there are no contracts to sign and you can cancel at any time by giving us a 14-day notice.
In an unlikely event that the reason for your cancellation has to do with the actual work completed by our virtual assistants, we encourage you to discuss the issue with us first to see if switching to another implementer could redirect your project in the right direction.
Can I hire 1 full-time assistant from you?
Typically, our full-time 40 hrs/week plans include access to up to 4 implementers so that you can move your project ahead faster. However, if you decide that working with one person suits your needs better, we can arrange for this option for you.
What if I don't like the assigned implementers?
Our virtual assistants go through in-depth talent, skill, and career/life goals assessments that include effective psychological and metaphysical data science approaches. In the unlikely event that you don’t feel a connection or alignment with your assistant(s), please let us know so we can provide further one-on-one training to them based on your expectations, or we will suggest an alternative solution or provide you with a different team member.
Will my privacy, data and passwords be protected and how?
Your privacy and security are our top priority. We have a contract in place with our offshore team members to ensure confidentiality and the non-disclosure of your sensitive information. Under the agreement, staff can only use your data for assigned tasks and it cannot be copied or disclosed for further use. We also recommend you use a password manager to further secure your information.
